The MAPAL hydraulic chucks are characterised by exact radial run-out, high repetition accuracy, easy handling without additional devices and high holding forces. The existing series is now supplemented by the hydraulic chucks with radial tool length adjustment.

The radial tool length adjustment is of particular advantage in situations where a hydraulic chuck is already clamped in the machine and the tool is to be set axially. The new clamping chucks are even easier to adjust lengthwise on setting devices as the chucks are operated easily and from the outside by means of a short internal hexagon key. The reliable and safe tool length adjustment is provided by a sturdy and precise bevel drive in the chuck. The self-locking of the bevel drive makes sure that any axial pressure on the tool does not result in a change of the position of the tool.

All shank diameters from 6 to 32 mm are available in combination with the shank types HSK-A 40, 50, 63 and 100 and HSK-C 40, 50 and 63. Chucks with overlength are also available as an option.
